Thank you for applying to the Fatemarked Facility on behalf of your chosen character. Please answer the following questions, which will allow us to determine whether they are suitable candidates. Be honest and thorough.
1. Character Name: Martha Jones
2. Canon/Series: http://tardis.wikia.com/wiki/Martha_Jones
3. Age: 23 or 24 wibbly wobbly timey wimey
4. Species: Human.
5. Role: Sentinel.
6. Why do you think your character is a good candidate for the Fatemarked setting? Martha Jones is from a canon where she spends a good deal of time saving the world. While not a traditional fighter, she does have skills that make up for it in other ways, such as her perseverance and the like. She's been through several games and has always thrived with excellent close CR, I have no doubt she'd have the same here.
7. What skills does your character have which might make them a good Sentinel? While not traditionally someone who would be considered a sentinel, Martha Jones has actually saved the world several times, including once almost entirely on her own. She's had UNIT training and is definitely a part of the end of the world survivor's club.
8. What traits, abilities, or qualities does your character have which might be the reason they are Fatemarked? (Skip if Sentinel.)
9. How do you think your character will react to their new role in life? Martha will begin as being surprised, perplexed and overwhelmed. This isn't her normal role after all, however, Martha will instantly go into caretaker mode when she's assigned (and probably before then to be honest) and she will do her best in order to try and help, assuming this all has something to do with timelines.
10. What are some of your character's strengths? Martha's strengths are how empathic she is, how instantly she cares about people even when she shouldn't. She's also very brave, and able to keep calm under most circumstances. Also she's incredibly intelligent, even if she doesn't seem like it at times. Her biggest strength however, is how loyal she is.
11. What are some of your character's weaknesses? Martha trusts too easily, especially when she shouldn't. Further, she can be blinded by her good opinion of people, in her eyes some people can do no wrong. Also Martha can be too passive about things, though it's gotten better from her current canon point after leaving the Doctor.
12. Does your character have any health problems we should know about? Martha has untreated PTSD from the year that wasn't.
13. Describe a single important event in your character's history. Martha Jones has a crowning moment of awesome, when after spending a year wandering an Earth that was an increasingly desolate and dangerous wasteland to tell a story, she was seemingly about to be executed by a mad time Lord. As he's counting down so she can be his first blood, Martha proceeds to laugh in his face, because she beats him with no weapons, just words: her story of the Doctor.
14. Who is your character's next-of-kin? Her family.
15. Tell us about the most important relationship your character has. While Martha's relationships with her family are very important to her, I would say that her most important one is with the Doctor. Meeting the Doctor completely changed (and in some cases destroyed) her life. Where as once she wanted to simply be a doctor, after her time traveling in the TARDIS, Martha knew that she couldn't do something as simple and quiet as that. It was too different after all of space and time.
16. What else should we know about your character that might recommend them to the position? I am just really looking forward to playing in this sandbox with a character who would be excellent at getting all the CR.
17. What is your character's Fatemark? This is only applicable if your character is one of the Fatemarked. If they are a Sentinel, their mark will appear after they have been assigned, and will correspond to that of their ward. If you do not have a mark selected, please leave this blank.
18. Please provide two writing samples showing us your ability to roleplay.
